Recycled cardboard is hip and trendy now; some designers are showing gallery-level pieces made of this cool material. When these chairs are completed, they look like suede. Who knew! Recycled metals from shipping crates, railroads, manufacturing plants that have been closed, old fencing, old barn wood, recycled tires, and recycled cardboard…all of these are just a few possibilities when furniture is eco-friendly.
